Director Christo Tomy and Parvathy are already in Los Angeles to participate in the screening. IFFLA is one of the most prestigious Indian film festivals held abroad.
Released last week, won rave reviews from critics and evoked a warm response from audiences. It is enjoying a fabulous run across India and will release worldwide on 28 July.
Ullozhukku is the debut feature film of the director Christo Tomy, best known for his internationally acclaimed 2023 Netflix documentary Curry & Cyanide: The Jolly Joseph Case.
The movie also features Alencier, Arjun Radhakrishnan, Prasanth Murali, Jaya Kurup, and Veenah Nair in key roles. Its story was set in a flooded Kuttanad in Alappuzha.
It featured Parvathy as the protagonist (Anju) and Urvashi as her mother-in-law (Leelamma). Urvashi and Parvathy’s unique combo in the film left the audience in awe.
Amazed by the film’s success, Parvathy Thiruvothu recently took to social media to share the behind-the-scenes (BTS) photos from the sets of Ullozhukku.
Meanwhile, in an interview with South First, Christo Tomy said he believed Parvathy was perfect for Anju’s role and was in constant touch with her since the beginning.
