Animal continues to dominate the box office with record collections all over the world. Though the film received mixed reviews, the film has so far collected more than ₹550 crore.
Speaking about her character, Rashmika said she has been getting responses from viewers. The actor mentioned that she also had some doubts about her role.
“Gitanjali is absolutely beautiful in my eyes, and in some ways, she is like most women who are standing strong and protecting their families day in and day out,” Rashmika wrote.
“At times as an actor, I would question some of Gitanjali’s actions. And I remember my director telling me – this was their story… it was their love and passion; this is who they are.”
“In a world full of all violence, hurt and unbearable pain – Gitanjali would bring peace, trust and calm… She was the rock that weathered all the storms.” She signed off.
