Allu Arjun’s successful hit film Pushpa 2: The Rule has grossed over ₹1,000 crore worldwide on Wednesday, 11 December.

The action film released on 5 December, also set another benchmark by making the humongous collection faster than any other Indian film.

The Sukumar directorial was well received by the audience. Starring Allu Arjun, and Rashmika Mandanna, the film is the sequel to the 2021 hit Pushpa: The Rise.

The first part also became the highest-grossing movie of 2021 in India and marked the first time a Telugu actor (Allu Arjun) won the Best Actor award at the National Film Awards.

Pushpa 2: The Rule is the eighth Indian film and the fourth Telugu title, following Baahubali 2, RRR (2022), and Kalki 2898 AD (2024), to earn over ₹1000 crore in global gross.
