“It is an interesting gangster drama that’s best enjoyed in theatres. It also has all human emotions — love, friendship, and family drama.” He said during a promotional event.

Dulquer Salmaan observed that a good number of audiences are watching Malayalam films on OTT platforms, particularly after the Covid-19 outbreak.

“King of Kotha is aimed at people who love to watch films in theatres and that’s the reason why it’s dubbed in other languages, too,” he pointed out.

“It’s always good to release big films simultaneously in other languages. If not, it’d be a tedious job to promote it in other states after it becomes a hit in one language.”

“The media and people in every place I’m visiting these days know everything about King of Kotha. I’m happy that the film and the Malayalam industry are being recognised.” He added.

Besides Malayalam, Dulquer Salmaan has been acting in other languages. “I want my films to have some quality. That is my only aim. Moreover, I’m looking for good and different stories.”
