Sandalwood is awaiting a varied number of films this July. Big banners with star actors aside several newcomers, including actors and directors, continue to make their on-screen debut this July.

Kshetrapati (Farmer in Sanskrit) is directed by engineer-turned-filmmaker Srikant Katagi. The Kannada film starring Naveen Shankar of Gultoo (2018) fame highlights the agrarian crisis.

Director Mahesh Babu, who directed successful films like Aakash (2005), and Abhay (2009), returns this July with Aparoopa (Unique), featuring newcomers Sughosh and Hritika in the lead.

Janardhana P Johnny, is attempting a Guinness World record by releasing his next venture Devara Aata Ballavararu in the next 30 days.
