With elections of the Karnataka Assembly round the corner and the Indian Premier League (IPL) reaching its final stages, it is set for a low-key affair in May with no major releases.
While a couple of movies were initially planned for release in May, including pan-Indian flick Martin, the makers pushed the release dates to June/July.
Based on the renowned Kannada writer Poornachandra Tejaswi’s story “Leaps from Pages to Celluloid”, Daredevil Musthafa is set to hit the screens on 19 May.
The movie stars Mandya Ramesh, Jamal Abdul Musthafa Hussain (Shishir Baikady), Aditya Ashree, Abhay, Supreeth Bharadwaj, Aashith, Srivatsa, and Prerana.
Actor Daali Dhananjay is presenting it. PRK Audio, the music label owned by the late Dr Puneeth Rajkumar, extended its support by purchasing the audio rights.
