In an exclusive interview with South First, Nataraj talks about his upcoming films, including Aade Nam God, a satire directed by veteran filmmaker PH Vishwanath.

“I had lost almost 20 kg for the role of Sandal Raja. Once the character escapes prison, he is forever on the run, and to portray that effectively, I had to lose weight.”

“Man of Match (2022), was made by the Rama Rama Re film team. Puneeth sir, who admired Rama Rama Re, was very impressed with the director Satya Prakash’s” Nataraj shares.

On Aade Nam God he said, “I was thrilled to work under PH Vishwanath sir. He started his career as an assistant director for renowned director Puttanna Kanagal,” the actor says.

Director Vishwanath’s Aade Nam God (Goat is Our God) is a satire on the ignorance and superstitious beliefs that still exist in our society.

“I play the role of Damodara. It’s a pure reflection of our society and will be a laugh riot. I’m sure the audience will love every bit of it,” Nataraj signs off.

The actor will also be seen in Kubusa — which has already been showcased at the Bengaluru International Film Festival — and Marichi where he will be seen in a negative role.
