Jayam Ravi’s new movie Siren is gearing up for release on 16 February. Helmed by Antony Bhagyaraj, it showcases Jayam Ravi as an ambulance driver, who is wrongly convicted.
Antony Bhagyaraj is the director. Music is composed by GV Prakash and the background score by Sam CS. The cinematography is done by Selvakumar SK and the editing is by Ruben.
In an exclusive interview with South First, Antony Bhagyaraj disclosed that he was inspired by the behaviour of an ambulance driver whom he chanced to meet.
The director recalled, “We were rushing my sister to the hospital in an ambulance. The ambulance driver took a second to say a prayer as we passed a temple for my sister.”
“I was stunned. I wondered who he was since he was wholeheartedly wishing to save his patients. I wanted my hero’s character to be fashioned after the driver’s characteristics.”
