“A German philosopher said that India is the last country where people converse without trying to get something from the other person,” she recalls.

“This year, we are also making mulled wine and eggnog, roast chicken and ginger bread cookies. We try to bring in a lot of comfort food,” she explains.

“When I go to Germany, I start missing India –the streets, the liveliness. In Germany, it’s so silent and I can’t deal with it,” she laughs.
