CJP Warns of Fresh Nationwide Protest

Abhijeet Dipke says agitation will resume if students continue to face "witch-hunting."

CJP founder Dipke accused authorities of targeting and harassing students who participated in the Jantar Mantar protest.

Dipke said that if the Centre fails to honour its assurances, the streets of India will once again become the voice of its youth through peaceful demonstrations.

The warning comes just days after the Jantar Mantar movement secured a major victory with the resignation of former Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan amid the NEET paper leak controversy.

Dipke said the movement is not over, stressing that students should not be punished for exercising their democratic right to protest peacefully.
