Childhood obesity surges 126 percent in India, signals growing health crisis

Childhood obesity in India has skyrocketed by 126 percent over the past 15 years, jumping from 1.5 percent in 2005-06 to 3.4 percent in 2019-21, according to the latest NFHS-5.
