Malayalam actor Dhyan Sreenivasan who is more popular for his interviews surprised everyone by saying that he was doing films as he felt insecure during the Covid lockdowns.
While most actors are usually aggressive during promotional events, Dhyan is quite jovial and is super cool in front of the media. He says he is never worried about his films.
Aju Varghese, who was also part of the press meet, asked the people to guess the clues hidden in promotional interviews to know more about their movie.
Brother of renowned actor-director Vineeth Sreenivasan, Dhyan noted that he considers himself a part-time actor. His directorial debut Love Action Drama (2019) won mixed reviews.
The actor admitted that he did several movies without giving much thought. “I did a lot of films for friends. That’s the reason why many of my works were flops.”
“I am busy with a host of films and there’s a reason why I am signing in many projects. We have a production house. I can easily make money through production. But I prefer to work.”
In the last two years, Udal (2022) was the only movie which he promoted aggressively as he felt that it had quality. “Nadhikalil Sundari Yamuna also has the same quality,” he added.
