Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin on Tuesday, 11 November, congratulated the 155 candidates from the State who cleared the UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination 2025, the results of which were announced on Tuesday.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he said, “Tamil Nadu shines in #UPSC Mains 2025. About 155 aspirants from TN have cleared the exam.”
Udhayanidhi noted that all these achievers had benefitted from the “Naan Mudhalvan” scheme — a flagship initiative of Chief Minister MK Stalin that offers scholarships and financial assistance to UPSC aspirants.
He further highlighted that 87 of the successful candidates this year were trained at the All India Civil Services Coaching Centre (AICSCC) run by the Tamil Nadu government.
“These remarkable achievements reflect Tamil Nadu’s steady progress towards the goal of producing 100 civil servants every year from the State,” he said, extending special appreciation to the AICSCC and Naan Mudhalvan teams for their efforts.
Udhayanidhi congratulated all the successful candidates and wished them the best for their upcoming interviews.

This year, a total of 2,736 candidates cleared the UPSC Mains examination across India.
