Tiger mauls Zoo employee in Thiruvananthapuram; victim suffers head injuries

A zoo employee in Thiruvananthapuram sustained head injuries on Sunday after being attacked by a female tiger named Babitha. The tiger, recently shifted from quarantine to a main enclosure after her capture in Wayanad in April, lunged at Supervisor Ramachandran Nair during routine cleaning.

Nair received four stitches and was discharged after treatment
